About

C6H12O6 is the molecular formula for glucose. Glucose is a monosaccharide that plays a major role in energy production via cell metabolism. Glucose is delicious and sweet, and you need it to surivive, but too much glucose can make you obese and give you Type II diabetes. I picked it as the namesake for my blog because metabolic rate is the cornerstone of my field, comparative physiology.

I am Michelle, a second-year grad student in an ecophysiology lab. Physiologically, I have an overactive sympathetic nervous system. Personally, I am agoraphobic and kind of a nerd. In my free time I blog and drink tea. Yeah, that’s about it.

I can be reached by email at ecophysiomichelle at gmail dot com.

    Hello There,

My name is Marlene and I’m a professional blogger.

I have over three years of experience writing for the web and have covered plenty of interesting topics.

I noticed that you have a blog and was wondering if you would be interested in allowing me to write relevant, useful topics on your blog at no cost.

At this point in my writing career, I simply want to get more visibility for my writing and I will write for free as long as you are okay with me adding a small author bio section next to each blog post about myself.

Please let me know if you’re interested and if you’d like for me to submit a sample blog post for your approval.

    Thanks a bunch,

    Marlene
